Tomato Onion & Cucumber Raita

A bowl full of rich yoghurt, further enhanced with tangy tomatoes, crunchy onions and refreshing cucumber, what more can I ask for.

Ingredients
  

  • 550 gm fresh yogurt
  • 1 medium size red tomato chopped, 1-2 cm diced
  • 27 gm red onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cucumber peeled and grated
  • 1-2 green chillies finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds roasted and coarsely ground
  • handful chopped coriander
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Whisk the plain yoghurt with salt, and grounded cumin powder.
  • Add diced tomatoes, onions, cucumber green chillies and some chopped coriander, mix all the contents.
  • Enjoy with parathas, biryanis or pulao
