Mint Coriander Chutney
Ingredients
- 2 cup mint leaves chopped
- 1 cup coriander leaves chopped
- 12- 15 cashews (optional)
- 1 inch piece fresh ginger
- 4-5 green chillies
- 2-3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients and blend in a food processor to a smooth paste using enough water.
Notes
can also be added to obtain smooth creamy texture. Fresh chutney delivers best taste, though it can be stored in airtight container in refrigerator for 2-3 days.
