Soya Patti is the hindi terminology.
The dill plant (Anethum graveolens) provides feathery green leaves for the dill weed herb, while the flat, oval fruits make the dill seed spice.It tastes a bit like anise and the mature herb stem with white flowers tend to taste a bit bitter and are less aromatic.
Used in salad, pickles, garnish and preparing yummy soya methi aloo ki sabji. Tender stem can be chopped with leaves.
