Ivy Gourd is known as Kundri or kundru in North Indian for Ivy Gourd in English.
The tender fruit vegetable is green in color and is used in vegetarian preparations like sukki sabji, stir fry or as salad.This capsule vegetable is easy to handle, with no wastage as you do not need to peel it or de-seed it unlike many vegetables, simply wash and slice them, within no time ivy gourd are ready to cook.
It is full of beta karotin , vast variety of B vitamins, vitamin A & C, fiber and minerals. It helps to keep blood sugar in check.
