Ingredients
- 215 gm bananas sliced
- 490 gm chilled fresh yoghurt
- 1-2 tbsp desiccated coconut
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional) over sliced bananas
- 2-3 tbsp honey
- Crushed black peppers to taste
- Black salt to taste
Instructions
- Drizzle lemon juice over cut banana slices, these add flavour and prevent browning of cut fruit.
- Whisk the chilled yoghurt in deep bowl.
- Add all the ingredients together in a and mix well.
- Garnish with banana slices, drizzle honey and flavour with crushed black peppers.
- Serve immediately.
Garnish
- Few banana slices, honey and pepper
Notes
Use fresh yoghurt, as sour one will ruin the taste of the raita.
Greek yoghurt or vanilla yoghurt can also be used.
Adjust the sweetness and salt as per taste.
