QUICK EASY HOMEMADE HUMMUS
Hummus is one of my favourite dips to relish with carrot, celery and cucumbers.
One can enjoy with pitta slices, multigrain thin, crackers, falafels and the list goes endless.
Which would be your list of veggies to nom nom with this quick easy and healthy dip?
Snap your fingers and ready in minutes!!
Serves 4-5
INGREDIENTS
250gm boiled and drained chickpeas
1 tbsp lightly toasted white sesame or tahini.
1 small clove of garlic, peeled and sliced
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (with extra for drizzling)
1.5 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice or squeeze of 1/2 fresh lemon
Salt to taste
Paprika (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
In a food processor or blender, stir in the cooked chickpea, garlic, toasted sesame seeds, lemon juice, 1 -2 tbsp extra virgin, season with salt, finally place the lid and blitz.
Open and scrap the hummus from the sides using spatula and check the texture, consistency and taste, adjust as you prefer with salt/ lemon/ olive oil
Transfer to a bowl drizzle some olive oil and paprika or sumac ( optional), enjoy it with your seasonal fresh.

I prepare my Avocado Dip, by hand for the best varied texture. This dip is incredibly easy to make in a food blender for ultra smooth creamy texture.Just toss ingredients into your machine of choice, and blend up.

It’s not a hidden fact we all know this nutrient bomb is also known as an alligator pear or butter fruit. Its the only fruit that provides a substantial amount of healthy monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA). Avocados are a naturally nutrient-dense food and contain nearly 20 vitamins and minerals.
INGREDIENTS
1-2 avocado
30g low fat probiotic yoghurt
1 small sweet pepper, chopped
1 garlic clove, finely chopped, alternatively good pinch of garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt or to taste
crushed peppercorns, to taste
few drops of extra virgin olive oil
squeeze of lime juice to taste
Serves 1-2
INSTRUCTIONS
Mash avocado.
Mix in yogurt, lime juice, sweet pepper, garlic, crushed pepper and salt. Adjust to taste.
Whip it with your fave healthy crunchy and crispy nibbles.
NOTES
Add few jalapeñoes, if you want some heat to the dip.
Coriander or basil can be also be blended in for extra flavour and taste.
